Overall it was excellent. However, one of the main reasons for the visit was to have a recall fitted. I had booked the visit about a month prior, yet only at the end of the day did the garage confess that they did not have the parts to do the recall.

On this occasion i wanted to highlight that the upgrade of software that was done reset a lot of settings so i have spent a lot of time haveing to reconfig settings etc. This was ntomade clear and should have been i think.
It was only a 1200 mile service but everything was done as expected.
Having replaced the motor and lock, the tailgate failed again some 3 weeks later, necessitating replacement of the controller
See explanation above. The tracking adjustment was carried out elsewhere and I was advised and witnessed the offside was seized, despite having been told by Sytner that the tracking was adjusted at an earlier visit in April just after purchase.
Simply excellent service
My car went in for the fitting of winter wheels and was safety checked at the same time, it was washed and I pointed out some scratches on the paintwork and these were rectified immediately- a job well done
Staff and facilities are excellent.. but there was an issue reported before the service which was supposed to be solved on the day of the service, but wasn't - so I had to go in again for another visit... waiting time to get the courtesy car wasn't

Booking my car in for a service over the phone was easy, the service was completed by the time agreed. I also asked for a quote from the body shop which was waiting for me when I collected the vehicle. The staff person I met (Amy Read) was helpful.

I found the staff very pleasant ( Lisa and the delivery/collection driver were excellent. ) however I feel that the No Dogs policy re service loan cars should be communicated upon arranging the vehicle. It is too late when the customer is on site.

The service indicator was not reset? and still shows 10/2018.I would have like to have seen in writing what was done in the service, plugs, filters etc. There is a code on the invoice "Carry out EVHC & C-IT-NOW" I don't know what this means.
The facility is excellent.The staff take pride in their work.The car valet is a welcome touch and demonstrates your care for your brand and your customer.

I was able to take my car in at a time and date to suit myself. When I dropped the car off it was suggested I went out in the car with a service engineer/technician and during the drive the technician identifyed the problem.The fault was rectifyed .

Whilst the service I experienced with my most recent visit to the garage was good, and the work was carried out as promised, the issue I have with radio reception on my new BMW X3 has not yet been resolved, and continues to be frustrating.
There are some areas that are excellent such as answering the telephone, arriving and dealing with mechanical problems. This time it was fabulous how a scratch was polished out saving us money but there are problems in the valetting side of things.
All arrangements were straightforward and hassle-free.You ' did what you said what you were going to do'. Work was carried out promptly, and All you staff were courteous and helpful

Service advisor made the mistake of presuming the registration plate of my vehicle was aligned to the older gent sat next to me, giving me the indication he maybe thought someone of my demographic couldn't afford such things. He did apologise later.

After advising Sytner in detail of a similar problem the car was booked in for with a previous car, no attention was given to the information given. The car had to stay with Sytner overnight for lubricant to be delivered!?, causing inconvenience.

Unfortunately i had a major fault with my BMW. Fortunately for me my car was still under manufacturers warranty. BMW's warranty was tested to the maximum in that a replacement engine & many relating items were needed. BMW Sytner Sheffield 10/10

I had a flt tyre on my X3 that was only 6 weeks old purchased from Nottingham BMW, I did not know what to do, I went to Sheffield BMW and asked them to help, the whole teamwent over and above to fix the problem

Staff and technicians tried hard. Sadly, I'm still experiencing random electrical problems - the latest is the car refused to unlock for an hour whilst on my drive. Also still got episodes of throttle hesitation and louder exhaust noise at times.

The salesman was very good. The only thing I was disappointed in was spending £135,000 on a car and only having a teaspoon of fuel in it. This is the first time I have purchased a car from bmw main dealers and not had a full tank.
As indicated above the sales personnel were fine but the build quality of the car isn't up to the hype that BMW promote.
