Polite friendly staff, excellent timekeeping and communication

Had to remind dealership that they had agreed to collect cars from existing customers. Who wants to take car to dealership and wait 90 minutes to be told we need a part and we can't get it until tomorrow. To get a courtesy car you have to book 3 week
They booked my car in for a MOT and got it done the same day for me and washed my car also.

Very accommodating with pick up
Fault found on suspension bushes. Engineer highlighted this was cause of vibration & bad tyre wear. Car still under warranty but told it was wear and tear. Car is under 3 years old. I wouldn't expect to replace them as a regular item during this time

My car was booked in for ad blue top up 6th March @ 08.00. On arrival I was told the booking had been made for the following week error at your side, told ok would only take 20 minutes. I was kept waiting for 2 hours for 11 litres of ad blue. POOR
Rang to get an update on how my car went on the MOT to find out if any work needed doing and authorising by myself. Took over an hour after calling the main reception, for a service advisor to contact me back to let me know it had passed the test

Extensive delay on repair, whilst I understand this wasn't necessarily the fault of Sytner Sheffield, the car should not have been required immediately without the part being available Service team as always were highly professional

Although the advisor was very good he was let down by the technician and BMW pricing.
I had a time spot allocated and everything was on time
Advisor was patronising. I knew that their was a fault with the headlight washers, but was told that they only work when head lights on and then only after ten activations etc... if I hadn't pressed the issue I still would be left as is.

I was quoted £40 for the MOT but was charged £55. For which my service handler could not refund and said I could get £15 off my next service. Not ideal but agreed to that.

As my previous answer shows Sytner BMW were excellent. You only find out how good a service is when you actually have to use it and in this case it could not be faulted.

Service was just not up to the usual standard. I appreciate that the business is very busy. My wife also made the same comments when she had her mini serviced.
At the previous service, I felt that my car and I mattered, we were important, but not this time! We were left hanging around when dropping off the car and picking it up. The personal element had gone. I was just a number.

My main criticism is that I ended up having to buy a one-off service pack for £400. I had been incorrectly advised not to buy this at the outset. But also the service itself took much longer than advised, and some of the advice was inconsistent

MOT and oil change carried out satisfactorily. I found out later that next service due was not displayed on dash, but lit up in red with minus mileage shown. Rang up and arranged for this to be put on. Attended BMW Sheffield on 21st February.Not done

Exactly as said before, nothing was a problem for them. I had queries and they helped answer, I needed to take my car back in to BMW, and they dealt with my issue quickly and efficiently.
I should not have been there for another 6 months!

Repaired the fault within 48 hours of it being reported. James Mappin in service was as usual very professional and efficient.
Great service by front of house service team. Excellent service. Unfortunately, the issue was not resolved and put down to 'poor design' of the car. So ultimately BMWs fault, rather than the dealership.
Had a screw in one of my tyres and needed a replacement immediately. Will only take my car to the supplying dealer - who fitted me into the day's schedule and got me going again in around an hour
The people at sytner were friendly and respectful. Did the job in half an hour.
Carried out in a good time whilst waiting. This saved leaving the vehicle with the consequent travelling to and fro from home or wherever.

Maya Sohal in Sheffield branch provided perfect customer care. 5 starts for her. The car stereo system and the screechy noise from the CD player was not looked at. The car still have those issues. 3 stars for the service.
Problem not sorted and pay £90
After over 20 years of dealing with a Sytner I have lost a lot of confidence in Sheffield. Things seem to have worsened since moving into new premises.

Got the problem sorted out collected & returned the car back to my place of work
Easy to arrange and efficiently carried out. My only proviso is that software updates should be explained as they can cause puzzlement afterwards.
My complaint details were not passed on to the service reception thus meaning explaining my story yet again
The problem is not fixed. However, the brake noise has reduced. It took four days to return the vehicle without a full resolution.

I'm not clear what the extra charge is for, but if I understand it, I should have received a video showing the condition of my car whilst on the ramps. What else should have been included? Also the 'new' charge could not be explained satisfactorily.

Sytner Sheffield confirmed a delivery date when I purchased the car and then assisted me to obtain a seven day insurance cover whilst my own insurance company sorted the extension of my previous insurance. The also arranged to provide me with a lift.

The experience I received at this bmw Centre was a good experience compared to when I bought my previous bmw in Doncaster. The salesman made us feel welcome, listened to us and knew from then what we wanted and so we were able to make a purchase.
As soon as we entered the centre we were made to feel special - staff were friendly and very attentive. George our sales person was lovely and very considerate as our first visit I was unwell. He made the whole experience straight forward

I would have been completely satisfied had the pre-delivery team enabled my sat-nav system. I now have to make a 50 mile round trip to have it enabled.

1st car I ordered was double sold meaning I had to opt for a different vehicle that said it did get sorted after 3days .. Very disappointed that car didn't come with a full tank of fuel being told that it was a good deal I got.. not good..
